Sports Participation Trends in the U.S.

According to a study conducted by the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association (SGMA), 66 percent of Americans participate at least occasionally in one or more sports/fitness activities. In SGMA¹s Sports Participation in America report (based on the Superstudy by American Sports Data), a number of statistically significant trends were revealed.

The cruise through the Carribean was great. As I expected, there was food available 24 hours a day. Dinner was the killer meal. Breakfast for me (between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m.) consisted of fruit, juice and a bagel. Twice, I had a full breakfast. Lunch typically consisted of salad with occasional fresh pasta.
